Hazel Mae Schmitz

Hazel Mae Schmitz, born July 12^th, 2023, to Alicia Milbridge–Scott and William Schmitz, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 19, 2023.  In her four short months with us, she blessed the lives of all who knew her and knew about her.  She came into the world smiling and shared that smile with everyone she met.  She was ready to do all the things; smile, roll over, sing, giggle, hold her head up, and get teeth way before she was supposed to.  She was ready to live life to its fullest, and boy did she live.  She brought joy to all of us. 

Hazel is preceded in death by great-great grandfather, Dennis Schmitz; great grandmother, Patty Scott; great grandmother, Jill Milbridge; and cousin, Gideon Carlson. 

She is survived by parents, William Schmitz and Alicia Milbridge-Scott; and Uncle Jessie along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, grandparents, great grandparents, great-great grandparents, and many other beloved family and friends. 

The family will be honoring Hazel with a private memorial at Good Hope Church in Cloquet, Minnesota.
