Herman C. Hendrickson Jr., 84, of Grand Portage, passed away on Saturday October 4, 2014 in the North Shore Care Center, Grand Marais. He was born in Grand Portage on March 5, 1930 to Herman and Celcia Hendrickson Sr. Herman had worked for the Park Service and was a Commercial Fisherman.
Herman was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann, and a son Michael.
Herman is survived by his daughters Norma Roth and Alona Hendrickson, twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and sisters Bernice LeGarde and Geraldine Kozlowski.
Visitation will be held on Thursday October 9, 2014 from 6PM until the 11AM Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Grand Portage, MN, on Friday October 10th. Burial in Grand Portage Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the funeral service at the Community Center in Grand Portage.
