Ingo Erich Wolfe, 87, of Duluth, passed away peacefully with family by his side Monday, January 6, 2025. Ingo was born July 7,1937, in Frankfurt, Germany, to Ernst and Johanna Wolfle.
Ingo retired as the VP of engineering for Kurt Manufacturing where he worked for 41 years.
He loved spending time with his family. Many years and memories were created at the cabin he built on Platte Lake. Ingo and his wife Mary spent 3 months a year for 12 years in a row in Mexico, they also enjoyed their trips to Europe. He enjoyed time outdoors, hunting, fishing, traveling, and walking with his beloved Chocolate Labrador, Abby. He was always upbeat and had a wonderful sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jochen Woelfle.
Ingo is survived by loving wife, Mary Williams-Wolfe; daughter, Colette (Gary Dickmeyer) Wolfe-Dickmeyer; grandchildren, Tristan and Bronwyn Wolfe; sister, Gitta Koch, of Germany, the Williams family; first wife, Larissa (Wolfgang Hechtl) Wolfe-Hechtl; and numerous, nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Visitation will be 5-7PM, Monday, January 13, 2025, in Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E 2nd Street, Duluth, MN 55805, visitation will continue Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 10AM until the 11AM Mass in St Michaels Catholic Church, 4901 E Superior St, Duluth, MN 55804. The Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Duluth, MN.
