Isabelle Marie (Demers) Bard, 99, of Duluth, died Sunday Jan. 29, 2012 in Edgewood Vista surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Rice Lake, WI to Eugene and Eva (Robarge) Demers on Oct. 29, 1912.Isabelle married Albert Bard and they where married for 37 years until his death in 1972. She was employed as a St. Luke?s Hospital in the dietary department and then with St. Mary?s Medical Center as a nursing assistant.Isabelle was a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea and a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.Some of her hobbies included playing cards bingo and dancing.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert; her son, Gerald and 11 brothers and sisters and her grandson, Jeff Erlandson.Survivors include her children, Albert (Suzanne) of Aurora, IL; Carol (Tom) Mullings of Sunrise Beach, MO; Dennis (Jackie) of Duluth; her daughter in-law, Judy Bard of Superior, WI; her brother, Joseph (Nancy) Demers of Rice Lake, WI; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Friday Feb. 10, 2012 in St. Benedicts Catholic Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral in the Church. Isabelle?s grandson Rev. David Bard of Duluth will be eulogizing at her funeral.
