Jackie C. "Miss Jackie" Owen, 62, of Owatonna St. died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 2, 2013 at Essentia St. Mary's after surgery. Jackie was born March 26, 1951 in Duluth to Russell and Marie (Bonifaci) Rollins. She graduated from Cathedral High School and worked a short time as a CNA. She met Michael Owen while living in California and they were married February 10, 1989 in Fairfield, CA. She was a member of the former, St Peter's. She loved going to the casino; playing on her I-phone and computers. She organized many "on line party's", but most of all, Jackie enjoyed spending time with her mom, Marie.
She was preceded in death by her father, Russell and her son, Michael.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Michael; mother, Marie Rollins both of Duluth; sons, John, Scott and Tommy (Jonna) all of Anchorage, Alaska; brother, Tony Rollins of Duluth; several grandchildren and cousins.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4-6pm with Wake Prayers at 4:30pm in the Dougherty Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Monday from 1pm to the 2pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 325 E 3rd St. Duluth. Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
