Jacqueline Keachie Gollinger, of Duluth, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Solvay Hospice House on Friday, May 11, 2018.
Jackie was born in Wadena, MN on March 5, 1924 and grew up in Minneapolis, MN, graduating from North High School. She moved to Duluth, MN in 1950. Jackie worked at the Bureau of Mines and at UMD. She was a member of St. Lawrence Church, Beta Sigma Phi sorority for over 60 years, a lifelong knitter, an avid reader, a community volunteer, a card player, a 45-year breast cancer survivor, and a generous and loving mother, Nana, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Leone Smith and Paul Bailey Keachie, her husbands, Elmer Satt (in 1950) and Marvin Gollinger (in 1974), her siblings, Victor (Phyllis) Keachie, Georgine (Bill) McVaugh, and Bobbette Kern, and many other relatives and friends. Jackie is survived by her loving children, Steve (Deirdre) Gollinger, Paul (Mary) Gollinger, Sara (Peter) Rust, Mary Jo (Jerry) Austad, and Susan (Ren) Elstad; beloved grandchildren, Matthew (Laurel) Gollinger, Alexa Gollinger, Amy Rust (Mark) Levin, Erin Austad (Jim) Kolbeck, Carrie Rust (Dan) Moline, Molly Gollinger, Kaylie Elstad (Steve) Pilla, Tessa Gollinger (Eric) Carpenter, Brian Austad, and Max Elstad; adored great grandchildren, Henry Gollinger, Taylor and Roy Levin, Logan Carpenter, Connor Kolbeck, and Lucia Pilla; brother-in-law, Wilbert Kern and sister-in-law Patricia Renier; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 18, 2018, with visitation at 10:00 AM at at St. Lawrence Church, 2410 Morris Thomas Rd, Duluth, 55811.
Memorial donations may be made to Damiano Center, Susan G. Komen Minnesota, or charity of donor’s choosing.
