James "Jim" Chinn

James “Jim” William Chinn, 66, of Duluth, passed away on Thursday September 16, 2021, as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born in Duluth on March 17, 1955. He was retired from Essentia Health and enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and photographing nature. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Victor Sing Chinn and Lillian Horvath. Jim is survived by his children Jackie West and David (Angie) Chinn, grandchildren Alayna and Bryce, siblings Bob (Lori) Chinn, Ken Chinn, Sharon (Mark Barnes) Charbonneau, Wendy (Scott) McFarlane, Brenda Chinn, Joy Denniston, and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held in Dougherty Funeral Home on Sunday October 3, 2021 from 2PM to 4PM.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home.  600 E. 2nd St. Duluth, MN 55805.
