Jane Meyer
Of Duluth passed into her eternal home with the LORD Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Barnes Care, Esko at the age of 95. She was born to Christopher and Barbara Skupas, in Iowa City, IA on April 25, 1926. She graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1944.
Jane dedicated her life to her family and sharing Jesus. She was devoted to her pets, wildlife and her gardens. After retiring as a bookkeeper, she enjoyed being part of the senior tap dance group, “The Inspirations” that entertained at a number of places in Duluth.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband of almost 65 years, John. She is survived by daughters, Barbara Yost of Proctor, and Deborah (Jerry) Lester of Cloquet; grandchildren, Chris (Sara) Yost of Proctor, Jen (Tim) Lester-Cockburn of Cloquet and Jeff (Barb) Lester of Nevis; and eight great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Jane’s Life will be held at 11AM on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Gospel Tabernacle, 1515 West Superior Street. Visitation beginning at 10AM. Luncheon to follow after the service. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery.
