Janell Ward

Janell Lynn Ward, 57, 0f Duluth, died Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Chris Jensen Health and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born in Alexander, Minn. March 26, 1962 to Gilbert Edgar and Elaine Elizabeth (Geist) Ward.  Janell was a waitress at Jim’s Hamburger for many years and at The Chalet Lounge for 18 years.  She enjoyed pool, gardening, arts and crafts and spending time with her family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother John Ward, grandparents, aunts and uncles.  Janell is survived by her children Melissa (Brandon Legore) Charnley of Duluth and Kyle (Karissa Isaacson) Reamer of Cloquet; five grandchildren Kaydien, Nathaniel, Logan, Michael and Jaxen; one great granddaughter Kelisea; two sisters Paula Ward and Rita (Mark) Ward; two brothers Larry (Lorri Ficken) Ward and Jerry (Nancy) Ward; two nieces; four nephews; her best friend of 40 years Pam Becker Pietrusa; and her canine companion Squirt.  Visitation:  Thursday, January 30th. from 10-11AM, followed at 11 AM by the Memorial Service at Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E.
