Janice Butler
June 18, 1942 — April 27, 2015
Janice "Pumpkin" L. Butler, 72, of Pitt St. died Monday, April 27, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospice after a long illness. Jan was born June 18, 1942 in Duluth to John and Bernice Johnson. She met Allen Butler and they were married on October 18, 1965 and they raised their family in Lakeside. Jan enjoyed cooking and doing crossword puzzles and she was a 26 year member of G.A.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bernice and sisters, Donna and Betty Lou.
Jan is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Allen; sons, William (Pauline) and Mark; grandchildren, Cassie, Tiffany, DeShaun, Arelle, Joshua and Ty; four great grandchildren and her sisters, Beverly (Art) Beckmark, Peggy Frykman and Mary Lou (Mark) Olson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the Dougherty Funeral Home, where visitation will continue Thursday, June 18th from 10am to the 11am Services.
