Janice A. Willman, 82, of Duluth passed away on Jan. 10, 2012 at Ecumen Bayshore Health Center. Janice Ann Polski was born Nov. 22, 1929 in Duluth the daughter of William and Josephine Polski, Sr. She grew up in Duluth and graduated from Central High School. She worked for a time for Oliver Mining Company in Duluth. She married Allen Willman in October of 1959 in Duluth. They made their home in the Piedmont neighborhood of Duluth. She was president of the Piedmont P.T.A. and was active in Girls Softball and bowling. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Phillip and William, Jr. and sister, Alice Clark. Janice is survived by her husband, Allen, children, Ann (Hemant) Trehan of Woodbury, Minn., and Christine Archambeault of Proctor, and two grandchildren, Jade and Seth. VISITATION: 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 until the 2 p.m. funeral service in Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E. Second Street., Duluth. Burial at Oneota Cemetery at a later date.
