Jason Paul Lyons, 46, of Hermantown passed away on Friday January 8, 2016 from complications of myotonic dystrophy. He was born in Duluth to Paul and Gloria Lyons on June 27, 1969. Jason graduated from Duluth East High School class of 1987. He had been active with the muscular dystrophy telethon for many years. Jason enjoyed fishing, bowling and entertaining his cat.
He was preceded in death by his mother, sister Sherilynn Larson, grandmothers Lyons and Saunders, and an aunt Delores Pearson.
He is survived by his father Paul (Mary) Lyons of Duluth, siblings Denelle (Kevin) Hudanski of OH, Stacy Giernet of CO, and Paula (Dick) Langlee of Duluth, his cat Shadow,step-siblings Lynn (Jerry) Moen of Duluth, Gregg (Carrie) Koivisto of Duluth, and Scott (Sheri) Koivisto of Cedar, MN, several aunts and uncles, a niece and a nephew.
