Jean Mills

Jean Mills, 94, of Duluth, died Thursday, April 16, 2015 at ECUMEN Lakeshore. Jean was born in Duluth, Minnesota on January 12, 1921 to Lee and Blanche Durkee. She graduated from Central High School, attended UMD and was an employee of Oliver Mining Company. In 1945 she married Donald Mills when he returned from 3 years in the South Pacific with the USMC.
She was preceded in death by her son Robert (2010), husband Donald (2011), sister Helen Durkee (2003), brother Robert Durkee (1997), and her identical twin sister Jane Keto (2010).
Jean is survived by her sons Thomas (Bonnie) of Duluth and John (Melanie) of Boise, ID; her daughter Kathy (Peter) Cleary of Minnetonka; her daughter-in-law Kathy Mills of Duluth; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
