Jean Montgomery

Jean Marie Montgomery 91, of Duluth, died Monday, May 10, 2021 in Duluth.  She was born October 5, 1929 in Maple, WI to Otto and Hilda Lavia.  Jean married Marc Lewis Montgomery in Duluth, MN.

She had worked for Northwestern Bell as a switchboard supervisor.  She had been a member of Redeemer Lutheran church, and Mount Olive Lutheran Church.  She was very dedicated to her family,  and she loved taking care of her children and grandchildren.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband Marc and her son James Montgomery.

Jean is survived by her daughters Mary Ann (Phillip Zwickey) Montgomery of Duluth and Patricia Marie (Kenn) Short of Cherokee, TN; her granddaughters Maya Montgomery of TN and Carly (Caesar Guillen) Eastman of Duluth; her grandsons Marc (Sara Olson) Montgomery-Eastman of Solon Springs, WI and Jack Montgomery of CA, and her great-granddaughter Camila Guillen.

Visitation will be held on Saturday May 22, 2021 from 10 AM until the 11 AM Funeral service in Dougherty Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E. 2nd. Street, Duluth, 218-727-3555.
