Jerome Webber

Jerome Webber, age 78, of Saginaw MN, died peacefully surrounded by family on Friday August 19th, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth MN.

Jerry was born on June 29, 1938 in St Paul MN to Leonard and Gertrude Webber.

August 25th, 1956 Jerry married the love of his life Laura (Kittleson). Together they raised a family and provided a loving home for many foster children. In 1976 Jerry moved his family to Duluth MN and became the manager of Saints Roller Skating Center in Hermantown MN. He and Laura later purchased the rink and changed the name to Ridgewood Roller Rink.

Jerry’s true passion was his horses. He and Laura purchased their farm in 1981 in Saginaw MN where he enjoyed riding, raising horses, and leading many trail rides with his favorite horse Loretta. Jerry was a true Cowboy at Heart.

Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, foster parent and friend to many and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Laura, daughter Leilani Sales and son Kelley Lee Schultz.

Jerry is survived by his children Ruby Webber, Jerome (Joan) Webber Jr, Lori Sorenson, Denita Webber, Robert (Tamie) Webber, Justin (Deb) Webber, Ray (Sandy) Grinsteinner, John (Diane) Twarski, many grandchildren, great grand-children and hundreds of foster children.

Visitation:  5:30 – 7:30 pm Wednesday, Aug. 24th. at Dougherty Funeral Home.  Visitation continues on Thurs., Aug 25th. from 12 noon until the 1:00 pm  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 5779 Seville Rd.  Burial will be at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery, Hermantown.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Raphael Catholic Church.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E.
