Joan Minor

Joan M. Minor, 81, of Duluth, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Solvay Hospice House. Joan Elizabeth Mach was born June 24, 1930 in La Crosse, Wis., the daughter of John Ross and Carmen Mach. She made her home in several places throughout her life including Florida. She moved to St. Anns Residence in 2010. Joan was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children, John Minor of Proctor, James (Laurie) Minor of Proctor, Leanne Barry of Rochester, Christopher (Sheila) Minor of Collerville, Tenn., Tracy (Dan) Claveau of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Sherry, Jennifer, Laura, Emily, and Luke; great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Katelynn, and sister, Mary (Jim) Lewinski of Camano, Wash. The family would like to thank the staffs of St. Anns and Solvay Hospice House for their excellent care of Joan. SERVICES: will not be held at Joans request.
