Jodie M. McCubbin, 39 of Duluth, died unexpectedly, Sunday, July 7, 2013 at home. Jodie was born August 17, 1973 in Duluth to Bob and Linda (Molstad) McCubbin. She graduated from Duluth East and WITC. Jodie worked for many years at Medical Release at the Duluth Clinic and was currently attending Lake Superior College. She loved to read, watch movies, camp, work in her garden where she would plant the veggies for her world famous salsa, she loved photography, canoeing, golf and anything involving Jake, family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Jodie was preceded in death by her brother, Bob Jr. and her former husband, Jody Bolin.
Jodie is survived by her son, Jake; parents, Linda and Bob McCubbin Sr.; her brother, Andy (Steph) McCubbin and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7pm in the Dougherty Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Thursday from 10am to the 11am Mass of Christian Burial at St. John's Church 4230 St. John's Ave, in Woodland. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
