John Schulte

John "Jack" Melvin Schulte, 80 of Pike Lake, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 31, 2015 with his family by his side. He was born in Duluth to Melvin and Amelia Schulte on October 13, 1935. John was a member of the National Guard, he had worked for General Foods, Phillip Morris, and Kraft Foods for 25 years. He was very proud of the four homes he built on Pike Lake. John loved to travel, enjoyed a good book, and growing his tomatoes. He always had a story to share along with a sweet treat.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Sheilah, children John Allen Schulte of Duluth, Kimberley Ann (David) Truchan of Holmen, WI, Gary Schulte of San Diego, CA, Debbie (Tim) Stanke of Lakeland, MN, Shari (Jim) Jauss of Duluth, brothers Jim and Tom Schulte both of FL, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday November 6, 2015 from 5-7PM in St. Raphael's Catholic Church, and continue on Saturday November 7, 2015 from 9:30AM until the 10:30AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raphael's. 5779 Seville Road, Hermantown, MN.
