Jovan (Johnny) Dragicevich, 64, of Moose Lake, Minn., fell asleep in the Lord on April 25, 2012 at the VA Health Center in Minneapolis. John graduated from Morgan Park High in Duluth, then went on to UMD and the University of Minnesota Minneapolis/St. Paul Campus. A disabled Viet Nam Veteran, John served as a Military Police Officer for the U.S. Army in Saigon during the Vietnam conflict. John also served as a Police Officer for 10 years with the University of Minnesota Minneapolis/St. Paul Campus Police Department, he then went into business for himself, owning Adolphs Bar in Robbinsdale, Minn., and Snelling Avenue Fine Wines in St. Paul, for 26 years and due to his hard work, diligence, sacrifices and above and beyond customer relation skills, he leaves this successful business to his son and daughter. John was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Duluth. where his father formerly served as parish priest from 1959-1978. John was also a past president of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church in St. Paul, and he was instrumental in purchasing, organizing and working for this church so that our Serbian people would have a place of their own to worship and gather to celebrate their ethnic events, those were the good times. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Protojerej Stavrofor (Archpriest) +Bozidar and Protinica +Zorka Dragicevich. He is survived by loving wife Ann Marie (Batinich) of 42 years; daughter Michele Pedersen; son Bozidar; special adored grand-daughter Amanda Marie Pedersen; step-grandson Kyle Pedersen; and grandson Michael Christian Dragicevich; sisters Simeona (Andrew) Nygren, Nancy (Rade) Colakovic; brothers Bosko (Anka Radicevic), Michael (Pamela Moretto), George (Dawn Buikema); sister-in-law JoAnn (Batinich) Smith (Donate Catalano); many nieces, nephews, relatives, kumovi and friends. VISITATION: 10 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2012, to be held in St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 1216 - 104th Avenue West, Duluth, with Rev. Father Krisjian Petrovich officiating. Interment at Oneota Cemetery, Duluth. Luncheon/Dacha catered by the Serbian Sisters Circle will be in the church hall after the burial services - all are welcome. Love for his family made his world. He gave all he could. Always truthful, honest and fair. Never a complaint about the trials and tribulations he suffered through. His special Love and relationship with his granddaughter Amanda brought him much laughter and happiness. His presence is already missed, His memory will be eternal.
