Judith Eells

Judith Anne “Judi” Eells, 78, of Duluth, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Viewcrest Health Center.  She was born April 28, 1940 in Duluth to Lawrence Edward and Sophie Juliette (Hanger) McIntyre.   Judi married Arthur Everett Eells on September 20, 1958.  For 39 years, she was a familiar, helpful, always smiling face at the Duluth Glass Block/Younkers Department Store. Judi was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Arthur; and her brother Lawrence McIntyre.  Judi will be greatly missed by her children:  Cynthia (Thom) Hardesty of Niceville, FL, Kevin (Minda) Eells of Duluth, and Julianne (Michael) Banks of Proctor; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many loving relatives and friends. Judi’s family would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff of Viewcrest and St. Luke’s Hospice for the care given to her.  VISITATION:  Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral service at Dougherty Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E.
