Judith Mary LaTour, 70, of Duluth, died on Monday Feb. 27, 2012 in Essentia Health St. Marys Hospice Unit with her family by her side. She was born on Jan. 10, 1942 in Duluth, to George and Helen (Klapich) Borowicz. Judy was employed in the registration office at St. Marys for many years. She was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church and active with the Women Living Our Faith group. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, family and neighbors. Judy was a lifelong Minnesota Vikings and Twins fan. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards, she was known as the Shark to some. She was preceded in death by her parents and her spouse, Paul. Survivors include her children, Bill (Laura) of North Branch, Minn., Steve (Karin) of Oak Park Heights, Minn., Paul (Kristin) of Aurora, Ill.; her grandchildren, Kristy Taylor, Thomas Taylor, Tara Taylor, MacKenzie LaTour and Hayley LaTour; four great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Marty (Marge) Borowicz of Green Bay, Wis., Mary Ellen (Brian) Grover of Duluth, Kathy (Miles) Stenberg of Hermantown, Ken (Luanne) Borowicz of Duluth and Don (Rhonda) Borowicz of Suamico, Wis.; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be directed to Essentia Health St. Marys Hospice in memory of Judy. VISITATION: 5-7 p.m. Thursday with wake prayers at 7 p.m. in Dougherty Funeral Home. Visitation continues at 10 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Johns Catholic Church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
