Kathryn Jane (Ruby) Wrazidlo
Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Granny Great, Grandma KK, rocker of all babies, passed away on January 6, 2024 at the age of 86. Kathryn went to St. Johns School, Cathedral and St. Scholastica. She worked at Yellowstone Park , Andes Candies, at the Rectory for Sacred Heart Church , was a Dental Assistant and an aid for Head Start in the Duluth Public Schools for 25 years. She was also a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Church Rosary Society . She was a strong mother of 6 and loved her family unconditionally, this extended to family outside of her own as well. She was a baby rocker (her favorite being Christine Sterling), She was also a foster care helper and was a Grandma and Great Grandma for too many to count. Kathryn was creative and artistic. She was skilled at sewing, making clothes and other crafts for her children and grandchildren. She loved art and music. She created Little People Posters of all her students. Kathryn also passed her love of gardening on to her children.
Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Josephine Ruby; siblings, Charlotte, Mary Lou, Agnas and Frank. Her Husband Ronald T.
Survived by her siblings Helen Luczak, and Edward Ruby. Her children, Frank Wrazidlo, Charlotte (Patrick) Currie, Tammy (Rick) Hanson, Kathleen (Clifford) Gableman, Ronald Wrazidlo, and Edward (Lisa) Wrazidlo; grandchildren, Nikole (Jed) Sajec, Frank (Alexis) Wrazidlo Jr., Amanda (Justin) Fitzsimmons, Robert Reilly, Amy Kirk, Rebecca (Mike) Nickila, David (Kasey) Hanson, Jessica (Aaran) Myhrer, Patrick (Myranda) Hanson, Shannon Clark, Daniel (Abigail) Gableman, Katie Gabelman (Caregiver of Grandma),
Theodore Gableman, Ryan Wrazidlo, Antonio (Ellie) Wrazidlo, Courtney Wrazidlo, Carson Wrazidlo and Cash Wrazidlo; great grandchildren, Payton, Alayna, Jordan, Taylor, Parker, Hunter, Spencer, Gracie, Justin Jr., Robin-Lynn, Jack, Aubree, Oakley, Olivia, Stella, Khloe, Ariana, Anders, Josephine, Penelope, Maverick, Chearrie (Zach), Cody, Nevada, Amaziah, Azariah, and Miles; great-great grandchild Axton, and many, nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held from 3-5pm with a Rosary at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E.
Second Street, Duluth. The Visitation will continue at 9am on Monday, January 15 at St. Mary Star of the
Sea, 325 E 3rd St, Duluth, MN until the 10am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be donated to various charities close to Kathryn's heart.
