Kellie Korina Brickson

In loving memory of Kellie Korina Haywood Brickson.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Kellie Korina Brickson. Kellie tragically passed away March 4, 2023, in a snowmobile accident.

Kellie was born July 9, 1970, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, born and raised. She also attended Confederation College and graduated with her diploma in Nursing. After graduating, Kellie took a job in Birmingham Alabama where she specialized in OR Nursing. Living in Birmingham for five years she then took a job in Duluth MN – closer to home in Thunder Bay – where she resided the rest of her life.

Kellie leaves behind her two beloved sons Nolan (21) and Karsen (19) Brickson. Her mother Grace Haner and Grace’s husband Fred, and his son Ron, her brother Richy, and his wife Amanda and their three children Mary, Jonathon, and Peter. Her sister Becky, and her husband Dennis and their three children Lucus, Olivia, and Gracie Facca. Kellie has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss her terribly. Kellie is also survived by her father-in-law Jack and the entire Brickson family. Kellie is preceded in death by her grandma Florence Robbins, Grandpa and Grandma Haywood, Uncle Johnny, Uncle Gary, and his son Brian.

Visitation will be 5-7PM, Thursday, March 9, 2023, with visitation continuing Friday, March 10, 2023, from 10AM until the 11AM Memorial Service, at the Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E 2^nd Street, Duluth, MN 55805.
