Kent Nordstrom

Kent M. Nordstrom, 48 of Duluth died peacefully, Monday, December 5, 2016 at Essentia St. Mary’s after a short illness, with his family by his side. Kent was born December 11, 1967 in Duluth to John and Donna Nordstrom. He was a graduate of Duluth East and UMD, where he received a degree in Business.
Kent had worked as a manager for St. Luke’s MRI. He loved music and he enjoyed being a member and traveling abroad with the Duluth Accordionaires, singing and traveling with the Duluth East Choir. He attended First Lutheran Church and served on several boards at Lakeview Covenant Church.
Kent is survived by his parents, Donna and John Nordstrom; his brother, Kevin (Beth) Nordstrom; 2 nieces, Mackenzie and Kassie and his nephew, Jacob and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will begin Saturday December 10th, at 10am with services at 11am at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1505 Eklund Ave., Duluth. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral home, Duluth, (218) 727-3555.
