Kevin Mark Johnson

Kevin Mark Johnson, 54, entered into eternal life at Oak Grove, MN on June 12, 2024.

He was born to Harlan and Jean Johnson in Duluth MN on May 18, 1970 on his mother's birthday.

As a youngster he participated in youth soccer and his church's Cub Scout Pack. He was a graduate of Duluth East High School where he sang with the Choralaires group. Also a graduate of UMD and Mankato State with degrees in accounting and technical writing. Kevin was a long time employee of Boston Scientific in Maple Grove, MN.

He married Dawn Schneider in 2000 and their daughter Annabeth Marie was born in 2002. Kevin later entered into a second marriage with Susan Thrower.

His interests included time with family, caring for his feathery and furry friends, canoe trips with family members, cousins and friends, music, guitar playing and FISHING, (Lots of FISHING). He was also very active in the Anoka, MN chapter of AA, where he led many group meetings and events.

Preceded in death by his mother Jean, Aunts/Uncles: Joy Lewis, Marlene & Darrell Anderson, Bruce Johnson and Irv Johnson.

Survived by his father Harlan, brother Greg Steven Johnson, daughter Annabeth Marie Johnson, Aunts/Uncles: Janet Lewis, Mike & Julie Dresen, Sally Sveine, Cousins: Fay Haluptzok, Cheri Thompson, Craig Anderson, Dale Anderson, Scott Kylander-Johnson, Brad Johnson, Wendy Jenkins, Tracey Glazewski, Holly Faith, and Amy Pieren.

A Memorial Service will be held in Duluth, MN on Aug. 10, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Forest Hill Cemetery Chapel, 2516 Woodland Ave., with Rev. Kari Jutila officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
