Kevin Theobald

Kevin Raymond Theobald, 14, of Hermantown, died Friday, June 15, 2018 at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Memorial Day.  He was born in Duluth on January 8, 2004 to Martin and Teresa (Foos) Theobald.  He had just completed the eighth grade at Hermantown Middle School. Kevin was a happy, loving boy who lived life to the fullest.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and shooting at the Northwestern Gun Club.  Among his many hobbies, he enjoyed working on old cars with his dad and brother, as well as reloading for the perfect deer round with his mentor, Gordy Adams.  Above all, he liked spending time with his friends.  He competed successfully in the High School Trap league and on the NWGC Youth Shooting Team.  He attended Peace In Christ Lutheran Church where he was confirmed last month.  Kevin is survived by his parents, Martin and Teresa; his brother James; his paternal grandparents, Ray and Shirley Theobald of Ely; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
