Lillian Stubbs, age 96, of Duluth, died Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Bayshore Health Center. She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada June 21, 1922 to Joseph and Lily (Bates) Hall. A resident of Duluth since 1968, she was a member of St. Benedict’s Catholic church and it’s Alter Society, the Benevolence Society, St. Anthony’s Ladies Club and AARP. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Edward John Stubbs on May 1, 2000. She is survived by her 7 children: Sister Mary Louise Stubbs, DC of Farmington, MI, Valerie J. Stubbs of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Patricia Gail (Kurt) Schmoger of Laurel, Maryland, John D. of Brainerd, Minn, Allen R. E. of Duluth, Michael R (Terese) of Britt, Minn. and Timothy A. of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren; Crystal Bowens, Tanya Schmoeger, Wesley Stubbs and Sarah Reyna; two great-grandchildren: Emerson Bowens and David Reyna; and her sister Doreen Bergson of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
VISITATION: Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 3-5 PM at Dougherty Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Monday, November 12th. from 9 AM until the 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
