Lloyd Ray Hawkins

Lloyd Ray Hawkins, age 73 of Greencastle, PA passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on July 8, 2023 in Essentia-St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. He was born on January 12, 1950 to parents, Raymond & Gladys (Goodsell). A chance encounter at Braddock Ski Lodge led Lloyd on a date with Peggy Wenner. They married and raised one beautiful daughter together, Megan. Whether it be riding his scooter, racing sulky ponies or fishing with his brothers, Lloyd lived his life at full tilt. Lloyd is preceded in death by his father, Raymond T.; twin brother, Leon; and brother, Raymond. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Peggy; daughter, Megan (Michael) Haynes; mother, Gladys; brother, Byron (Nancy); sister, Julie Blake; step-mother, Sandy; step-grandchildren, Jennifer (Dan) & Samantha; and great-grandchildren, Molly & Moose; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
