Lorraine Landwehr

Lorraine M. Landwehr, 94, formerly of Piedmont Heights, died Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Golden Oaks with her family by her side.

Lorraine was born April 23, 1924 in St. Wendel Township, Minnesota to Albert and Agnes Lodermeier.

Lorraine met Ralph Landwehr and they were married May 21, 1947 in St. Joseph, MN.  They moved to Duluth in 1953.

She was a member of St. Lawrence Church, where she worked on the funeral lunch committee, and its OK Club.  She also was a volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul Society.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Albert and Agnes Lodermeier; husband, Ralph and brothers, Jerome and Raymond.

Lorraine is survived by her sons, Jerry (Wanda), Ken (Jo Ann), Bob (Lori) and Jim (Nancy).

Grandchildren; Bryan Landwehr, Craig Landwehr, Matthew Landwehr, Adam Landwehr, Annie Bloomquist, and Natalie Halloran.

Great grandchildren; Shawn, Cheyenne, Shelby, Rowdy, Chevy and Savannah. Lucille, Charles, Hudson, Hazel, Alissa and John.

Sisters, Rita Palmersheim and Mary Fink; sister- in-laws, Marlene and Rosemary Lodermeier; brothers -in- law, Maurice Palmersheim, Tony Fink and Harold Landwehr, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7pm in the Dougherty Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Thursday at St. Lawrence Church, 2410 Morris Thomas Rd. from 10am to the 11am Mass of Christian Burial.  Burial at Calvary Cemetery.  Memorials are preferred and may be directed to St. Lawrence Church.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E 2 ^nd St. Duluth, MN, (218) 727-3555.
