Lorraine F. (Daly) Rodman, 97, of Duluth died Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Chris Jensen Health Center with her family by her side. Lorraine was born June 17, 1918 in Duluth to Frank and Rose Daly. She graduated from Duluth Denfeld and the College of St. Scholastica. Lorraine worked as a clerk for the Northern Pacific RR for ten years. She married Stephen Rodman in 1945 in Duluth.
Lorraine was a the former member of St. Jean's and St. James Church and was the Woman of the year in Duluth in 1974; volunteered at the Daisy Shop at the College of St. Scholastica; was a member of St. Mary's auxiliary, St. Jean's PTA, AAUW, Duluth Woman's Club, West Duluth's Woman's Club and the Plus 55 Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Stephen in 1994.
Lorraine is survived by her children, Jim (Mardy) Rodman and Pattie (Al) Pitoscia; grandchildren, Sarah (Lucas) Brock, Sam (Olivia Frey) Rodman, Stephen (Jenae) Pitoscia, Eric (Tanya) Pitoscia and Michael Pitoscia; great grandchildren, Jackson and Henry Brock and Hailey, Reid, Vinny and Jack Pitoscia.
Private services will be held Monday. Burial at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are preferred and may be directed to the College of St. Scholastica, 1200 Kenwood Ave. Duluth, MN 55811. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, Duluth, (218) 727-3555.
