Lorrayne Glazman

Lorrayne L. Glazman, 84, of Duluth died Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in her home, with her family by her side.  Lorrayne was born Oct. 7, 1933 in Duluth to Max and Ann Cherson.   She was a graduate of Duluth Central High School.  Lorrayne married Aaron “Babe” Glazman, (whom she had known since she was 4), on August 10, 1952.  She had worked for Dunning and Dunning Insurance and for the nursery school at Temple Israel.  She was a member of Temple Israel; was past President of the Temple Israel Sisterhood and was a Girl Scout and Cub Scout troop leader.  She enjoyed playing tennis, baking and most of all spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Ann.  Lorrayne is survived by her husband of 65 years, Aaron “Babe”; sons, Charlie (Cindy) and Neil (Barb Russ); her daughter, Randi (Roger) Simon; her grandchildren, Les (Jenni) Glazman, Lindsay (Michael) Goldberg, Jordan Simon, Bliss (Foster) Peterson, Jason Baldwin and Sara Baldwin; great grandchildren, Cienna, Lilli, Louie, Benjamin, Carter, Hunter, Jack and Henry; brothers, Gerald (Dee) Cherson and Hersh (Grace) Cherson.  The family would like to thank the staff at Edgewood Vista memory Care for their loving care of Lorrayne.  Services will be 11am Friday (today) at Temple Israel, 1602 E 2nd St. Duluth, MN.  Memorials are preferred and may be directed to Temple Israel or the donor’s choice.   Arrangements by the Dougherty Funeral Home, Duluth, (218) 727-3555.
