Lucy Shelton

Lucy Ann Shelton of Twig, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home in her mother’s arms and surrounded by family on October 2, 2017.
Lucy was born on September 21, 2017 with Trisomy 18 to Mike Shelton and Kelsey Veech.
Lucy’s short life was filled with so much love and joy. She has forever changed the lives of everyone around her.
Lucy was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Lorraine and Alfred Shelton, Paul and Betty Johnson; great-grandfathers Dick Veech and Daryl Ziegler; and cousin Michael Ziegler, Jr.
Beside her parents, Lucy is survived by her grandparents, Chris and Tammy Shelton, and Kyle and Lisa Veech; uncles Joe (Jessica) Shelton, Max Veech, and Elliot Veech; cousin Oliver Veech; great-grandmothers Mary (Al Schultz) Ziegler and Caryl Veech; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Seacotte and the staff at Essentia Health Birthplace for their wonderful care and for enabling Lucy to be born, live and die with dignity, respect and love.
GATHERING OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY: Friday, October13, 2017 from 10 AM until the 11 AM memorial service at Dougherty Funeral Home.
