Lynn Hounsell Jr

Lynn S. Hounsell Jr., of Duluth passed away on Tuesday November 11, 2014 at his cabin in McGregor. He was born on May 21, 1931 to Lynn and Agnes Hounsell Sr. in Alexandria, MN. Lynn married Louise Meier on November 26, 1955 in Duluth, MN. He was a Korean War Marine Corp. Veteran. Lynn had worked as a service technician for Frieden Business Machines, Singer Business Machines, and TRW. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Lake Avenue Loafers, and the United Northern Sportsman's Club. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to St. Luke's Cardiac Care, Lakeshore Fountains, St. Luke's Hospice, Itasca Hospice, and the Twin Ports V.A. Clinic.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents a sister Joan Kephart and a brother Larry J. Hounsell.
Lynn is survived by his wife Louise, children Linda (Michael) Rippetoe, Lonny Hounsell, and Larry (Carol) Hounsell; grandchildren Brandie, Angela, David (Jess), and Tony (Linnea), great-grandchildren Stephen, Alyssa, Simone, Chloe, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Alexis, and Arabella; sister Geraldine Christensen; nieces and nephew Bruce (Anita) Kephart, Lynn (Marty) Johnson, April (Warren) Killstrom and many more.
Visitation will be held on Monday November 17th, 2014 from 10AM until the 11AM Memorial Mass in St. Michaels Catholic Church. 4901 E. Superior St., Duluth, MN 55804.
