Margaret M. Poulin, 86, formerly of Lakeside and St. Ann's died Monday, November 4, 2013 at Bayshore Health Center. Margaret was born June 8, 1927 to Benjamin and Barbara Miller. She married Wallace Poulin on June 24, 1944 and they raised six children.
Margaret was a member of St. Michael's Church; she enjoyed baking, music and sewing, but most of all, Margaret was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wallace; son-in-law, Bruce Swenson and her siblings, Eddy, Jim, Annette, Alice and Shirley.
Margaret is survived by her children, Tom (Linda) Poulin, Duluth, Rose (Dave) Pollock, Superior, Barb Swenson, Duluth, Michael (Debbie) Poulin, St. Paul, Marianne Robertson and Timothy (Sandy) Poulin of Duluth; 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and her brother, Francis Miller of Poplar, WI.
Visitation will be Friday beginning with a Wake Prayer at 5pm and visitation continuing to 7pm in the Dougherty Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Saturday from 10am to the 11am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael's Church, 4901 E Superior St. Duluth. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
