Margaret Rovinsky

Margaret Ann (Tanney) Rovinsky was born in her home in Menahga, MN on January 16, 1934 to August Tanney, Jr. and Lempi Dagmar Lalli Tanney.  Margaret died peacefully in her sleep on September 26, 2020 in her home in Duluth, MN at the age of 86.  Married to Eugene Rovinsky in 1958, they had three children Donald, Thomas, and Linda.  She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren Taylor, Elizabeth and Devin and watching the birds and squirrels from her window.  Margaret was preceded in death by her siblings, including her favorite sister Lempi, her husband Eugene, and her daughter Linda Murphy.  She is survived by her sons Donald Rovinsky and Thomas (wife Kathy) Rovinsky; her son-in-law James Murphy; and grandchildren Taylor, Elizabeth and Devin.  She was the last of her siblings.  Margaret was loved dearly and will be missed by many.  VISITATION:  Friday, October 2, 2020 from 5 – 7 PM at Dougherty Funeral Home.  Visitation will continue on Saturday, October 3rd from 10 AM until 11 AM, followed at 11 AM with the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John’s Catholic Church, 4230 St. John’s Ave. in Duluth.  FACIAL MASKS ARE REQUIRED.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E.
