Marie Morrin, 62, passed away peacefully on Monday March 7, 2016 in Essentia Health, St. Mary's Hospital. She was born in Minneapolis, MN on September 10, 1953 to Francis and Theresa Morrin. Marie had worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Grand Portage Clinic. She loved her job, her grandchildren, playing bingo, and helping people.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, brother Anthony, twin sister Lisa Morrin, and sister Rosemary Jenson.
Marie is survived by her children Shari Morrin, Anthony Poyirier, Matthew Poyirier, and Lobo Poyirier, 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brothers Tom and John, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday March 11, 2016 from 4:00PM until the 11:00AM Funeral Service Saturday March 12, 2016 in the Grand Portage Community Center. Burial will be in Grand Portage Cemetery.
