Marilyn Werner

Marilyn Victoria (Lindgren) Werner, 90, of Duluth, passed away on Wednesday March 6, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital.  She was born on March 28, 1928 at Weber Hospital to Roy and Lily Victoria (Carlson) Lindgren in Duluth, MN.  Marilyn worked at all three hospitals in various departments, Jeno’s, and retired from Senior Friends as a caregiver.  She loved nature, feeding birds and deer, doing yard work and listening to polka music.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, infant son Edwin, and a brother Edward.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Robert) Larson, grandchildren Michael, Michelle, Jennifer, and Robert, numerous great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 12, 2019 from 10AM until the 11AM Funeral Service in Emmanuel Baptist Church.  1505 Eklund Ave. Duluth, MN 55811.  Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home.  600 E. 2nd St., Duluth, MN 55805.  218-727-3555.
