Marion Landis

Marion L. Landis, 94, of Duluth, passed away peacefully with family by her side, Saturday, April 7, 2018.

She was born in Minneapolis, MN, August 31, 1923, to Theodore and Lillian Pearson.

Marion was gifted in interior decorating, starting her own business, focusing on custom made draperies.

She spent time flower gardening and arranging; trees, sewing, knitting, other handwork, camping.  She loved her K-9 companions, Missy, Nova, and Missy, and most importantly spending time with her family.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman; and sisters, Virginia and Peggy.

She is survived by children, Paula (Don) Bjoralt, and Richard (LeAnn) Landis; grandchildren Shean (Kendra) Bjoralt, and Ben Bjoralt (Kristi), Jason (BrieAnna) Boudreau-Landis, Anthony (Kelsey) Landis, and Jordan Kinseth; great-grandchildren, Jack, Nick, Kate, Zoie, Ayla, Jaden, Collin, and Mia; and numerous, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Aftenro and St. Croix Hospice for their compassionate care of Marion.

Memorial Service will be 11AM, Friday, June 22, 2018 with visitation one-hour prior at Pilgrim Congregational Church 2310 E 4th St, Duluth, MN 55812.
