Mary Ellen Davis

Mary Ellen Davis, 81, formerly of Columbia Station, OH, passed away on Saturday November 4, 2023. She resided at Duluth Heights Lodge Senior Living.  She was born in Cleveland, OH on January 23, 1942, to Ralph and Gertrude Daley.  Mary Ellen had a long and distinguished career in laboratory medical technology with an emphasis on blood banking and apheresis. She earned a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University and retired as Manager for Special Donations for the Cleveland area Red Cross.  She treasured time with her extended family and friends, travel, volunteering at the animal shelter, and her two cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husbands Earl W. Davis and Robert J. Dennington.

She is survived by her son Brad (April) Davis, brother Kenneth Daley, sister Joyce Carr, and her grandchildren Erin and Cory Davis.
