Mary F. Joppa, age 44, of Duluth, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 28, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital. Mary was born in Robbinsdale to Roger and Connie (King) Joppa on October 12, 1976. She was a bright soul, loved life, and was a friend to everyone who met her. Mary had a gift of remembering every detail and birthday. She was very prayerful, had great trust in God, and was a faithful adorer at The Holy Innocents Perpetual Adoration Chapel. Mary graduated from Duluth East in 1995. She enjoyed interacting with all of her customers during her years working at Burger King and KFC. Mary loved making homemade cards, planning family parties, playing dominos and cards, chewing gum, catching the bouquet at weddings, watching her favorite TV shows, and her daily chats with her best friend Dawn from Hawaii. Mary battled with health issues her entire life but never complained. She was certainly a trooper! Many thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and medical staff throughout the years. Mary is survived by her parents, siblings; Amy (Tom) Trksak, Fr. Mark Joppa, Paul (Bridget) Joppa, Ann (Michael) Blunt, Kathy (Ed) Dreher and 13 nieces and nephews including her godson, James.
