Mary Vucenich
November 1, 1919 — April 1, 2017
Mary Vucenich, 97, of Duluth, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, April 1, 2017.
Mary was born November 1, 1919 and moved to Duluth, in 1949. She was member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, and a member of the sister’s circle. Mary enjoyed knitting, cooking, crocheting, family, friends and most of all her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bronko; siblings, Todor, Mirko, Jovo, Anica, and Dara.
Mary is survived by children, Momchilo (Shirley), Singer island, FL, Milan (Jan) of Duluth; grandchildren Todd (Stacy), Rodney (Nicole), Carly (Donald) Prellwitz, John (Stacia); great-grandchildren, Nick, Ashley, Reese, Lily, Ryan, Kaylah, Brenna; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In Lieu of flowers memorials preferred to St. George Serbian Orthodox Church.
The family would like to thank the staff at North Shore Estates for their compassionate care.
Funeral Service will be 11AM, Wednesday, April 5, 2017, with visitation one-hour prior, in St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 1216 104th Avenue W, Duluth MN 55808.
