Maxine Ann Nelson

Passed away peacefully on November 10, 2022 at the age of 94. Preceded in death by husband, Robert; daughter, Vivian Hart; parents, Pearl and Charles Johnson; and brothers, Curtis and Roger. Survived by son, Conrad (Carol) Nelson; daughter, Rebecca Nelson; son-in-law, Aethan Hart; grandchildren, Elias (Angela) Hart, Lauren (James) Cook, Corina Nelson; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved pet, Mustang Sally. Maxine had a variety of jobs including the supervisor at a telephone company, secretary at Target, sales at Westman’s and secretary at Arrowhead Tree Services. She was an avid reader, was interested in politics and loved to bake, especially Christmas cookies. She was the caretaker for her family and many other people and will be greatly missed. Special thanks to Aftenro Home, St. Croix Hospice, Trinity Lutheran Church and her many friends and neighbors. Funeral Service to be held at 12pm on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1108 E 8th St, Duluth with a Visitation beginning at 11am. Burial at Park Hill Cemetery. Memorials preferred to CHUM to help those in need.
