Michael L. Colby, 61 of Duluth died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospice after a long battle with MS. Mike was born in southern Minnesota on March 15, 1952. He lived on a hobby farm in Aitkin, MN where he also sold insurance and he moved to Duluth in 2006. Mike loved classical music, his dogs, reading, rummage sales, Schwan's food, keeping up on current events, especially MS research, He was very active in the MS Society and enjoyed its yoga class.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mike is survived by several cousins and his Peace of Minds and MS family. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Saturday starting at 10am with services at 11am at the Benedictine Health Center Chapel, 935 Kenwood Ave. Duluth. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorials to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 200 12th Ave South, Minneapolis, MN 55415-1255.
