Michael David Scinocca, age 51, of Duluth, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Essentia St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.
Michael was born March 15, 1961 in Duluth, Minnesota, the son of Ronald and Carol (Tyo) Scinocca. He grew up in Pike Lake and graduated from Proctor High School in 1979. He attended camera school and later worked for several different business in the Duluth area.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting agates, spending time in the woods with his dogs. He was a member of a Fantasy Football League for over 25 years, Ducks Unlimited, and the NRA.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Ron, step-mother, Carol, and brothers, Jim and Steve.
He is survived by his significant other, Lisa Liabraaten of Duluth, mother, Carol Zillmer of Duluth, brother, Ronald of Duluth, sister, Shelly (Tim) Nick of Duluth, two half-brothers, Todd Linskie and Doug Linskie, both of Duluth, half-sister, Linda Linskie of Duluth, nephews, Joseph and Jay Nick, niece, Katie Scinocca, and his beloved dogs, Hoss and Jayden and his cat, Pacino.
Visitation: 5 to 7 pm, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 East Second Street, Duluth, and one hour prior to the 11 am, Wednesday, November 21, 2012, Funeral Service at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Proctor.
