Miranda Marie Ostrander

Miranda M. Ostrander, 22, of Duluth, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday October 12, 2022.  She was born in Duluth on May 2, 2000.  Miranda had worked at Chris Jensen Nursing Home and at Twin Ports Health Services as a CNA and a Dietary Aide.  She enjoyed beading, drawing, coloring, and time spent with the kids.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Cecilia Bluebird, great-uncle Leonard Bluebird, and an Aunt Eileen Mainville.

She is survived by her daughter Cecilia, her significant other Toby Smith, mother Carole Ostrander, sister Mecayla Ostrander, brother Gavin Bigjoe, aunts, and uncles Pat (Jill) Mainville, Cameron Ostrander, and Rick (Jill) Widell, and many cousins and other relatives.

Wake services will be held on Wednesday October 19, 2022, staring at 6PM at the Fond du lac Cultural Center, 1711 Mizhakii Rd., Cloquet, MN 55733 and continues at the Cultural Center on Thursday October 20, 2022, at 9:00AM with the start of her Funeral Service.  Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home.  600 E. 2^nd St. Duluth, MN 55805.  218-727-3555.
