Nancy Kay (Foster) Amberg 68, of Duluth, MN, joined Our Lord in Heaven on April 26, 2015 surrounded by her loving husband and children.
Nancy was born April 1, 1947 in Ames, Iowa to Dell and Gladys (Grande) Foster. Nancy was a graduate from Duluth East High School. She met the love of her life William and they married soon after. Together they raised their children and she was able to pursue her dream of being a dedicated and loving wife and mother. She gave all of her time to her family making sure that everyone's needs were met before her own. She taught her family what "family" was all about. Her legacy will live on forever.
Nancy enjoyed spending time at the cabin with her family, camping with the relatives and working in her yard. Of course all of this was much more enjoyable if her family was with her. Nancy and William spent hours upon hours working outside, going for drives, going dancing and of course shopping all while holding hands and laughing. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. She spent as much time with her grandchildren as she could. She made sure that they all could read before starting school and encouraged all of them to be strong and love the Lord and their family.
Nancy was a devout Catholic and member of Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary. Her faith was very important to her. She raised her children in the church and lived the Word of the Lord everyday.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Dell and Gladys Foster and her sister Sandra Foster.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband William Amberg of 39 years, her son Michael (Brigid) Amberg of Byron, MN; daughters Barbara Amberg of Duluth, MN; Nancy H.
