Nancy Engelsgjerd

Nancy Lee Engelsgjerd, age 48, of Sartell, Minn. died Friday, June 14, 2013 at St. Cloud Hospital. She was born in Duluth on February 5, 1965 to Robert and Mary Lou (Armstrong) Sabroski. Nancy was a 1983 graduate of Duluth East High School, and graduated from the University of Minnesota- Duluth with a degree in elementary education. She taught elementary grade school in Elk River, Minn. Nancy had a passion for theater and was in many productions in high school and college, as well as in plays at the Duluth Playhouse. She continued her passion for theater by attending her sons many plays. Nancy loved to be with family and was always sending them small gifts. She never forgot a birthday or special occasion. Nancy is survived by her sons: Sam (Kamie Olson) of Brooklyn Park, Minn., Alex and Charlie Engelsgjerd, both of Sartell; her parents, Robert and Mary Lou Sabroski of Duluth; her siblings: Mary Kay Sabroski of Breckenridge, Minn., Daniel (Rebecca) Sabroski of Crestview, Fl., Susan (Jim) Smart of Rosemount, Minn., Barb (Greg) Gecas of Gunflint Trail, Minn., Robert (Linda) Sabroski of Phoenix, AZ., Jean (Nicholas) Revier of Twin Valley, Minn., Alan (Suzanne) Sabroski and Sarah (Frank) Selhorst, both of Duluth; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation: 5-7 pm Tuesday, June 25, at Dougherty Funeral Home, and from 10 am until the 11 am Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday June 26th. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 4901 E.
