Nancy A. Olmscheid of Duluth MN passed away on March 19, 2015, at Solvay Hospice House surrounded by her family.
She was born February 29, 1940 the daughter of William and Marion Jacobson. She graduated from Cathedral High School in Duluth and began a career in modeling at Master Furriers, then moved to Minneapolis and began her retail career beginning as sales clerk at Shirley's Maternity Shop. Loving retail, Nancy advanced to the store manager prior to moving into a position as a clothing buyer for the maternity wear.
Nancy enjoyed her many friends and was part of a swimming aerobics group known as The Mermaids. Nancy brought life to any gathering she was a part of and enjoyed baking for almost any occasion she could.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Marion Jacobson and her beloved and trusted companion Kipper.
Nancy is survived by her husband John Olmscheid, her children, Robbie Lepak (Kathy), Jon Lepak (Kristen) and Justin Foley, Ann Olmscheid (Chris), and John Olmscheid (Becky).
Her sister Marianne Wipson (Ed), brother William "Jake" Jacobson (Lynn) and sister Peggy Oraskovich (Dennis).
Three grandsons Matthew Lepak (Brittany), Ryan and Grant Olmscheid, three granddaughters, Megan Olmscheid, Jaclyn and Jessie Thomas and one great-grand daughter Lucy Lepak, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 26, 2015 from 10AM until the 11AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Benedicts Catholic Church. 1419 St. Benedict Street, Duluth, MN 55811.
