Olga "Esther" Willemarck, 84, of Duluth MN. passed away on Monday, October 9th, 2017. "Esther” lived 80 years of her life as a Duluth Township "Clover Valley resident". She was born on January 25,1933 to Oscar and ILa (McDonald) Stromberg. Esther grew up enjoying life in the "little"house on the Homestead Road. She was proud to be a direct descendant to the founding pioneers of Palmers (Clover Valley) MN. Esther met and married Henry "Hank" Willemarck on May 19th, 1956. Together they built a home on Lake Superior only feet from where she grew up as a child. Esther's love of music started as a child playing the accordion, then organ. In later years Esther enjoyed going to polka fest with her husband and family. Esther enjoyed taking trips with her husband and family whether traveling the US/Canada with her siblings and their spouses to taking camping/fishing trips with her family. The most important job to Esther was taking care of her husband and family. She was a caregiver, excellent listener and never made a judgmental comment.
Esther is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Eldred, Oberta, Blanche and Lois, and her loving husband Hank.
Esther is survived by Shelley Berg (Lance), Steven Willemarck (Dawn), Jeffery Willemarck (Kim) and grandchildren Justin Berg (Michelle), Brittney Berg, Carrie Denney, Lindsey, Brandon, Cody and Kennedy Willemarck; great grandchild Elliana Berg and a soon to be great-grandchild.
