Patricia Louise Gentry, 84, of Duluth, passed away in her sleep on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at St. Ann’s Residence. Pat was born October 10, 1933 in Duluth, to James and Margaret Gentry. Pat graduated from Stanbrook Hall in 1951, she worked as a transcriptionist at the Duluth Clinic for 52 years.
Pat was a Lecturer, Eucharistic Minister, Cantor, choir member, St Mary Star of the Sea Rosary Society, member of Cursillo of Diocese of Duluth, volunteer at St. Mary’s and St. Scholastica Priory- Benet Hall, Meals on Wheels, Blue Army and Cursillo Golden Arrow Club. Pat loved cooking dinner for her family and friends, getting together for birthdays and holidays, going on trips and cookouts with good friend Lillian and her sister Kay, she also enjoyed being with her good friends Teri, Millie, and Ginger.
Pat enjoyed making delicious Christmas candy for her friends and family. Pat loved traveling especially to Niagara Falls. Her favorite saying was “God Bless”.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, James, Robert, Richard and Leonard; 3 sisters, Dorothy, Kathryn and Betty; and nephew, James Burgraff.
She is survived by nephews, George and Mike Burgraff, Bob, Jon, Jay and Jerry Gentry; niece, Judy Newman; any many great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank St. Ann’s and Essentia Hospice for their excellent care of Pat.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11AM, Friday, February 23, 2018, with visitation one hour prior in St. Ann’s Residence Chapel, 330 E 3rd Street, Duluth, MN 55805.
